TESTIMONIALS

VIVIENNE WESTWOOD
Scott Wilton has been an extremely valuable member of staff and came in to the Company at a very crucial Time. As all the history of Vivienne Westwood was on hard paper we decided to purchase a Lectra System so that we could store all the pattern direct on the computer, we asked Scott to join us to help out on this, During his time with us he trained our pattern makers to operate the system. Scott also mentioned that we should in fact be using the software for our production and not only for an archive as the fabrics used are very expensive and we needed to utilise as much as possible.
We went ahead with this putting him in charge of the department, with his knowledge of CAD systems it was very easy for him to setup and implement the department, this was the first time we had full control over our makers and the savings were instant. Westwood styles are not like your typical high street garments; they require a good knowledge of pattern and marker making in which Scott possesses. We wish him good luck with his consultancy.

LECTRA HONG KONG
I have had the privilege of collaborating with Mr Scott Wilton on 2 different projects - one in China and one in Philippines – cantered around saving of material utilization for one of Hong Kong’s largest intimate’s manufacturers.
I was thoroughly impressed with the deep reservoir of knowledge Mr Wilton possesses in this very specialized but painfully underappreciated area of material utilization. He is perhaps one of the most knowledgeable consultants in this specialized filed that I know of. He has an uncanny ability to see the big picture and yet knowing all the nuts-and-bolts in each of the processes from fashion engineering to cutting to sewing.
Mr. Wilton is equally comfortable working with people of various cultural backgrounds as he is working with numbers. He is very results-driven and delivers what he promises.

LECTRA SOUTH AFRICA
Scott was an employee of Lectra in the Johannesburg, South Africa office, employed as a trainer during the 1990s.He mastered this task well, and was an asset to the office. He developed a good relationship with his customers, as well as his peers.
Many times there were task beyond his job specification which needed attention, as he would gladly assist with these.
I wish him every success in any venture he chooses in the future, and with his positive attitude, am sure he will be successful.

LUEN THAI INTERNATIONAL
I asked Scott to come into Luen Thai to look at some issues we had in fabric utilization because this was affecting our shipment performance. Scott came into the company to investigate with a non-bias opinion where we were going wrong; it wasn’t long before he was actually identifying the areas of concern. After looking at the way we handled our fabrics from inbound up until cut goods hit the production floor we managed to identify and isolate the issues.
Now we are managing to increase our shipment performance based on the findings of Scott and the system he has implemented. Actual receiving of fabrics combined with the correct size ratios in the markers are giving us the results we needed. With this being the second time I have personally worked with Scott I would recommend him to any company no matter they are a new company looking for systems or an established company looking to increase the fabric utilization. I wish him all the success in the future.
